Bible Note: Dear Sister, Val: Good post. Personally I believe dispensationalism has some merit. But I also see a danger in taking it too far as the hyper dispe's do, so I take it with a grain of kosher salt. Note that too, Jesus says in matthew 16:18 (the first time we see the word in Scripture by the way) "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it." Note He says "I will build" Now it would make sense, that you don't "build" (future tense) something that already existed, now would you? Shalom and God bless John |
