Bible Question:
Since Jesus absolutely must return at a point in the future, where exactly does Bible prophecy say that He must return to? What location? |
Bible Answer: Dear Loran, Scripture gives us the answer: And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. (Zechariah 14:4) This is why there are so many tombs in that area today. The Jews believe this prophecy is about the Messiah's coming. (Of course, we know it is the return of the Lord.) At His return, there will also be the resurrection of the Godly. So, those tombs are filled with all the hopeful. In Him, Doc |
