Bible Note: Thanks Steve. The reason I'm asking is because of a message given in my church. We've been between Senior Pastors for the past year and a half and we had a sort-of guest speaker. She's on staff at our church on a part-time basis and I think she's a psychologist. Well, I stated my concerns to her but instead of responding to the Scripture I raised, the Executive pastor (who's been holding things together) took authority in the situation and said I misunderstood what was being said. The result was no response to the concerns I had. I'm quite certain that I did not misunderstand what was being taught but I WISH I could have someone listen to it who's completely unconnected. I just want to know what others think is the core teaching in this message. I have the sermon saved as an .mp3. I know 30 minutes is a long time to invest in a complete stranger but if there's ANY possibility, I would REALLY appreciate it. I'm going to send this same message to "prayon." It seems you two have different views on this and I'd be interested to see if you both "hear" the same things being said. The fact you have two opposing views would probably be a good thing. Let me know. Thanks Ken |
