Bible Question (short): Why didn't Jesus make fig tree bear frui |
Question (full): I have often wondered why Jesus, seeing as how he was hungry, did not command the fig tree to bear it's fruit. I understand the parable and I understand he was showing his disciples a "faith builder" so that they too could have "...faith enough to move mountains", but I just can't figure why he wouldn't have made the tree bear fruit to do so. |
