Bible Question: if a brother sins and he has a youth ministry and you ask him about it and he refuses to acknowledge his sin and you bring to the attention of the elders and they tell you to keep quit what can you do or what should you do |
Bible Answer: Hello geronimemo, Obviously, I do not know the specifics of the situation. However, are there any witnesses to his "sin" beside yourself? Matt 18:15 "If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. Matt 18:16 "But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED. Matt 18:17 "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector." I Trust this will help. BradK |
