Bible Question (short): Dealing with conflict Matthew 18 in Q? |
Question (full): My question is that if you are having problems with someone, say you are a Youth teacher in your church. You talk to the 14 year old and express to him what you see to be the problem with his behavior in the class. After a few weeks of dealing still with the disrespect and misbehavior you and the other Youth Teachers and the child's parents talk, and still he will not follow the rules. Then the last option you see according to the Bible in Matthew 18 and the Youth Group Rules are to take the child before the church. You, and the other teachers do that in a very loving, forgiving, positive and compassionate way. The parents agreed for him to go before the church, the child agreed to go before the church. But, you have opposition from church members. What is the Biblical way according to scripture? |
