Bible Question: if your husband try to harm you or he aloud another person to try to harm you should they be forgiven |
Bible Answer: First I would say if you are in any kind of danger or any kind of harm, to find somewhere safe to live. We are to forgive no matter what. Not that it will be easy for us to do but we can start by praying for that person even if we don't feel like it. Soon you will see that God is faithful and your feelings will change. Having been through something of this myself I can say I have forgiven but I did have to find a safe place to go. At that time I was not a Christian and I Divorced my husband. We can forgive but we don't need to forget so that we are put in danger again. see matthew 18: 15-35 on forgiveness. Peace and Blessings Laurie |
