AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 17:4 Then Peter began to speak and said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good and delightful and auspicious that we are here; if You wish, I will put up three [sacred] tents here--one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." |
Subject: Wasn't it Peter, on earth, who knew? |
Bible Note: Kinnison, I truly appreciate your reply. However, I still don't feel that situation fully answers the original question, "If we have a new body and a new name, will we know one another in heaven?" This came up in a Sunday Night Bible study I attend and no one there had a good answer. I've since asked several knowledgable Bible Scholars, they didn't have a good answer. I'm beginning to think we'll just have to find out when we get there. I personally believe we will recognize one another, but the relationships will be on a different plane. I have nothing to back this up. Thanks again for your help. |
