Subject: How much does salvation cost us? |
Bible Note: Hi mommapbs, It sounds like a good sermon to me. It appears that your pastor brings out of his treasured congregation things both new and old. Is he your inspiration for thinking new things? I can see in Matthew 13:44-50 the humanity of Jesus as the "man", the "merchant", and the "dragnet". I believe that it is a good contrast to the "Man" of Matthew 13:54, see NKJ. Unfortunately, the Scriptures tell us that they took offense at Him [sic]. Matthew 13:57 and Mark 6:3. The relationship that we have as Christians is not with a man who lived and died but rather it is a relationship with the Man, Jesus Christ who rose from the dead and is alive forevermore.
