Bible Note: The catholic, will always believed that Mary is remained a virgin. You can give all the verses that you want but they will not believed in that. You may also know that Bible is not that important to them but a tradition, dogma etc. that the vatican will gave to them. Bible is not thier ultimate source. Mt 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? They will not believed on that verse, they said that the brothers and sisters mentioned there was cousins of Jesus Christ. If thier allegation is true, why there are cousins mentioned in the Bible, not just all brothers and sisters? Lu 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. Lu 1:58 And her neighbours and her cousins heard how the Lord had shewed great mercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her. The word "knew" in the Bible means "sexual intercourse" Mt 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS. In that verse it is clear that Mary and Joseph did not have sexual intercourse till mary brought forth Jesus. Ge 4:1 ¶ And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. The KJV New Testament Greek Lexicon knew: Original word:ginwvskw Translated word:Ginosko Phonetic spelling: ghin-oce'-ko Definition: Jewish idiom for sexual intercourse between a man and a woman God bless, |
