Bible Note: I have great news for you CDBJ isn’t in the minister of reproving the world, this is the work of the Holy Spirit along with all they that have learned the truth have been taught by Him. You can lead a mule to water but you can’t make him be baptized, or something along those lines. If you are going to get in a Greek contest I will tell you right now and save you a lot of typing that I stand on Tim side in the debate. For me personally I was saved months before I was baptized and I sure had the witness of the Spirit within me as the down payment. If I would have been hit by a buss or run over by a train before I was able to be baptized I still knew that I was in Jesus and I had his righteousness imputed to me because the Lord gave me His assurance. You can debate it until you are blue in the face I personally know what I had before I was baptized. My baptism was a real blessing to me as it is when I see others being baptized, but I can tell you personally that if it wouldn’t have happened, for some strange reason or another, I would have still be safe in the Lord’s hands and you can take that to the bank!
