Bible Question: Luke 12:10 - NLT: Anyone who speaks against the Son of Man can be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven." How does one blaspheme the Holy Spirit? Aileen |
Bible Answer: The HOLY SPIRIT came to live with man after Jesus accended, and in man when Christ is accepted as Savior. The Holy Spirit is to draw people to Christ,(jn.14v26-jn.15v26-jn.16v7) this is very evident in little children how they love the things and Word of God! After we get older and more in our "world" (unGodly ways)it is easier to doubt, excuse, and do religion "our own way" yes and -blaspheme- this is rejection of GOD, you can even be forgiven if you repent cussing GOD but there is no forgiveness for the rejection of the HOLY SPIRIT drawing and testifying you to the sacrafice of GOD HIMSELF at Calvary..please get a better trans than NLT. GOD BLESS |
