AMPLIFIED 2015 | Numbers 20:12 But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, "Because you have not believed (trusted) Me, to treat Me as holy in the sight of the sons of Israel, you therefore shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them." [Ps 106:32, 33] |
Bible Question:
We all know Moses did not make it across the jordan to the Canaan land. what i will like to know is this, if you were Moses is there anything you could have done to make it to the promised land? |
Bible Answer: To add to Tim's responce I wanted to add that the people were thirsty and needed water for their animals. God told Moses to strike the rock his staff one time, however Moses was so angered at the people that he struck the rock twice directly disobeying God. As punishment God told him that he would not enter the promised land. I don't think that there was anything that Moses could of done to change this. When we disobey God He will punish us just as we punish our children when they do something wrong. We are God's children. prayon |
