AMPLIFIED 2015 | Numbers 20:11 Then Moses raised his hand [in anger] and with his rod he struck the rock twice [instead of speaking to the rock as the LORD had commanded]. And the water poured out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank [fresh water]. |
Subject: Why did Moses strike the rock? |
Bible Note: Steve, You have totally misunderstood and misread what prayon was trying to say! It was stated, "Makes you wonder what blessings we have missed out on".. In no way was prayon saying or attributing anything to the Bible or the Beatitudes!! Prayon was simply responding to the fact that Moses reacted angrily in Num. 20:11 and therefore, sinned against God and 'missed out on the blessing' of seeing the Promised Land! That was all that prayon was trying to do here, Steve. And prayon made a great observation, which is something that has become one of prayon's trademarks on this Forum! I, for one, have been blessed by prayon's contributions to this Forum! Nolan |
