Bible Note: Hi greentwiga, When I spoke of the covenant being broken I did not mean that the marriage is over and that there should be a divorce. The covenant that I see in Malachi is one of life and peace. The covenant that I see in 1 Corinthians is that the husband and wife "consent to live" together. This "consent" is one of hearty approval; being pleased to dwell with each other. This is the convenant that was broken.
