Bible Question:
Somewhere in the Old Testament it says that the children of Israel will have a country that 1). will be so large that it will take angels to measure and that 2). it will have cities without walls and 3). it will be bounded by seas on the east and on west. Can somebody find that verse or verses for me? Thanks in advance. |
Bible Answer: Hi Jim: Welcome to the forum! What you are asking is in context with the study of eschatology, (i.e. the study of end time prophecy) May I say that one should have, not just a cursory or concise knowledge of Scripture, before, delving into this area of theology, but rather a fairly comprehensive understanding of the entire Bible. It is difficult even at that to have an accurate understanding of eschatology. Having said that, I'll give you this verse, which I believe refers to a false peace, that will be found in the midst of what is called the Great Tribulation period; with a recommendation and link to some good commentary. Please be sure to read the context of the whole chapter! God bless John (Ezekiel 38:11) http://www.blueletterbible.org |
