AMPLIFIED 2015 | Zephaniah 2:9 "Therefore, as I live," declares the LORD of hosts, The God of Israel, "Moab will in fact become like Sodom And the sons of Ammon like Gomorrah, A land possessed by nettles and salt pits, And a perpetual desolation. The remnant of My people will plunder them And what is left of My nation will inherit them [as their own]." |

Bible Note: Hi mommapbs, I like your comparison and connection to Romans 4:17. I would hope that all the nations will bow down to Him, everyone from his own place, as Zephaniah 2:11 says. But I am the wrong person to talk about the last days for that has never been my interest. For me, "Today" is the day of salvation. And salvation is not found in Allah or in any other god of the earth. Salvation is found in the God of Israel just as Zephaniah 2:9 says. Hebrews 3:12, "Take care, brethren lest there should be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart, in falling away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end; while it is said, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS, AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME." Good to hear from you, mommapbs. I am doing fine now, thanks. From the heart, Ray |
