Subject: Without vision, people perish. Passage? |
Bible Note: Wing Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. KJV Many pastors have corrupted this word to mean they have a vision and without them the people will perish. If you look to a more accurate translation fo the Hebrew you see it means something completely different. Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people are unrestrained, But happy is he who keeps the law. NASB Here the meaning becomes clear without God's word/revelation/law the people are unrestrained, but happy is he that keeps God's law. EdB |
