Bible Question (short): I am looking for evidence of dark skies

Question (full): I am searching for any documentation and or studies on the conditions of the day between the hours of 12noon and 3pm when Jesus was being crucified. I heard some studies were done on it with verifiable documentation that the skies were dark the earth was rumbling.

Do you know of any?

Thank you!
