Thank you for your exposition of Amos 4:4!

It is interesting to note that the KJV uses "years", and its successor, the NKJV, changes this to "days.."

However, I agree with you and your excellent notes! It must be referring to years, since no farmer could obviously grow crops in three days! :-)

Therefore, this would be another case where dynamic equivalency prevails over the most literal rendering.
