Subject: OT Laws - still apply today? |
Bible Note: Radioman, I agree with this way of thinking. I beleive that we are pardoned from the penalty of the law which is death. But I still beleive that Gods laws that were written on stone are written on our hearts, and are still the standard today. Grace saves us, but it doesnt change us. Only the law can point out sin. When we see our sin, then we can change. The bible says if you love me keep my commandments. Every day I try to keep these commandments, and every day I still need Gods mercy to give me grace because Im sure I've failed somewhere. I dont live in condemnation to these laws because I no that were my sin abounds, grace does much more abound. I can never be satisfied or comfortable with how Im living because I know that only God was saved by the law. Only he could keep it. So I strive to do the same, even in my failures. Were I am weak, he was strong. MaTT |
