Subject: Wise Christian spending? |
Bible Note: Justme While 25 to 50 cents and hour may be beyond our belief if you only need 2-4 dollars a day to live then it isn't slave wages. I remember a time in this country a good income was 500 dollars a month. You could buy a car for 1500 and house for 10,000 now the wages are 3000 a month and a car costs 30,000 and houses 250,000. Personally I would rather be making the 500 and buying cars for 1500 then making 4000 and buying cars for 30,000. What a laborer is paid is not the key how much spendable income does he have after he pays for the necessities of life is the gauge. Here in the US we have allowed our cost to exceed our income by our willingness to pay the price. If we stopped paying the high prices things would come down but while the correction is taking place people would be out of jobs. Something no one wants. EdB |
