Bible Question:
Acts 5:39 39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. The King James Version, (Cambridge: Cambridge) 1769. |
Bible Answer: Heman Are you trying to say or imply that since the garden of Eden was in Iraq we can't over throw the vile regime that terrorized that nation? If you are, that is tearing scripture apart and pasting it to mean what you want it to say. That sir is adding and subtracting from the Bible and a very dangerous position to be in. Scripture must be read in CONTEXT anything else is pretext! Secondly Gamaliel in Acts 5:39 is speaking in man's wisdom not God's. EdB |
