Subject: How to resist "back to slavery" tempts? |
Bible Note: This is very good advice. For me to overcome the evil temptations of life I came to the place where I just believed who God said I was. Meaning, God said I am the righteousness of God and this righteousness I received by faith. So if I received it by faith, I realized I can't lose it by works. God tells us to live our life by faith because what we see may not always line up with what he says. If God sees us as blameless, unaccusable, without fault, spot or wrinkle, Then I must see myself as that too. Job said, (27:6) I will maintain my righteousness and never let go of it; my conscience will not reproach me as long as I live." We must do the same because Satan tells us all day long we're not worthy to come God, we should be ashamed, look at what you did. So do as Job did and maintain your righteousness and never let go of it. Be assured of who you are in Christ and pursue excellence, and you will never fail. |
