Bible Question (short): How to resist "back to slavery" tempts? |
Question (full): Confession: Satan has long squashed me with fear and doubt. I have come to believe more than "God forgives", but His Son died to cover my sin, thus I can forgive myself. I have begun to minister to people who share my past. I've given the evil one power with self-talk: what if people really knew me?? Now, as I'm gathering my faith and courage, the enemy attacks. It's daily aggravations, and even his felt presence in my sleep. When I share my story, how do I give glory to God - not Satan -but affirm his work is real? Cowering back to slavery is an option - stepping out is HARD. I need prayer and advice of believers... |
