Subject: How is Adam "Ancient of Days"? |
Bible Note: GBennett76, The "Ancient of Days" was not Adam. The "Ancient of Days" is God the Father, who is spoken of in Isaiah 44:6. The "One like a Son of Man" spoken of in Daniel 7:13 is clearly a reference to the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus used this title often when describing Himself (ex. Matt. 8:20). But God the Father is the only one who can fit the description of the "Ancient of Days", and any other figure, person or created being (outside of the Diety) cannot possibly fit the description of being the "Ancient of Days" except Him alone. I find it interesting that you give undue respect for Adam, when it was through Adam that sin entered into the world (Gen 3), condemning the human race to pain and death. Makarios |
