AMPLIFIED 2015 | Daniel 2:47 The king answered Daniel and said, "Most certainly your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, since you have been able to reveal this mystery!" [Prov 3:32; Rev 19:16] |
Bible Question: Daniel 2:47 might lead one to think that Nebuchadnezzar was a true believer in the God of Israel. But was he? Did this most powerful pagan of his time continue to cling to his Babylonian gods? |
Bible Answer: Daniel 3 has Nebuchadnezzar building a golden image - violating at least one of the ten commandments. Daniel 4 is about Nebuchadnezzar living with the wild animals, because of his pride. So was he a beliver, I say no. But, I do not know. One can say great things about God, yet not have Him in their heart. Look at the world today. Steve |
