Subject: Nebuchadnezzar a true believer? |
Bible Note: Hi Steve Butler, You realize that I chose Spirit of the holy God from the footnote. The NKJ reads Spirit of the Holy God. My wife is a school teacher and she has to fight the temptation to classify every "Nathan"or "Benjamin" or whatever name as a troublemaker just because she has had trouble with a lot of them in the past. In other words, I think you have to get past his heathen name. It is true that scripture doesn't tell us that Daniel spoke in tongues as proof of his committment. As far as Nebuchadnezzar is concerned, another case for "security of the believer" might be argued. In any case, get back with me about what I missed with the "resd" to Hank. |
