Is it too slight a thing for the house of Judah to commit the repulsive acts which they have committed here, that they have filled the land with violence and repeatedly provoked Me to anger? And behold, they are putting the branch to their nose.

Bible Note: Yes, Emmaus, I completely agree with your observation, neither John or Mary would allow such a thing to happen, which further strengthens my resolve that Mary lived in John's house, not the other way around!

One thing continues to bother me: so many of my Catholic friends are absolutely consummed in their devotion to Mary. They rarely speak of Jesus and thus it causes me to wonder who is really Lord of their lives. I'm being careful not to judge here for the Lord alone knows their hearts!

BTW, we found the guide to be very "politically correct" and yet far from subtle in a rejection of the Christian faith. Most people we encountered were "cultural" muslims rather than devote followers.
