Bible Question: I am looking for the scripture or correct spelling of the Name of God - Jehovah Shammah. The Lord who is with us. Is Shammah spelled correctly? And What verse can I find this? I am at work and can't locate it. |
Bible Answer: Word Study ... YHVH Sham ... RGlean, greetings and welcome to the forum. Sham (Strong's 8033) means there and His name found in the last verse in the book of Ezekiel (Eze 48:35). I have seen Shammah used, however, I believe it is used incorrectly. Shamma (Strong's 8037) means desert ... the name of son of Zophar (1 Ch 7:37). It is from the root shamem (Strong's 08074). Hope this helps, Searcher |
