AMPLIFIED 2015 | Ezekiel 20:6 on that day I swore to them to bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had selected for them, [plentiful and] flowing with milk and honey, [a land] which is an ornament and a glory to all lands. |

Bible Note: Dear Brother Brad, One more question. In Exodus 3:8, 6:8, 12:25, 13:5, the description for the land of Canaan was: - a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey - the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob - the land which the LORD will give you - a land flowing with milk and honey Here in Ezek above, it was added with "which is the glory of all lands". Was it God's purpose to make a contrast to their current shameful situation as being captives in Babylon? Again, thanks for your help in advance. Shalom Azure |
