Bible Question: Need help. This verse Ezek 18:27 and Mat 23:37, does it mean if a man do righteous deed but do not accept Christ as saviour, he will still be saved on judgement day? Also, is ghost also fallen angels or soul of the dead. thank you. |
Bible Answer: Hi, faithfulness! Though God does not change... He did conceive a Divine Plan. This Plan was set in motion and has not been derailed nor delayed: Because it was towards John that all the prophecies of the prophets and of the Law were leading; (John 11:13) If we were to interprete Ezekiel 18:27 and Matthew 23:37 as clauses to circumvent Christ we would surely be returning to the full mandates of the Law (Mosiac Law), where grace would no longer take effect but salvation would be by fulfillment of all of the Law. Once the Word became incarnate there is fulfillment of the Scriptures and the New Covenant, facilitated by Jesus' blood, established: Matthew 26:28 (see also Matthew 5:17 through 7:29). God Bless!
