Subject: How important is self esteem? |
Bible Note: Thank you for your response George, The scriptures that you posted have to do with Christians. I wanted to point out God's "temporary" disregard for the self esteem of sinners. Sinners need to be broken to lead to repentance: Psalm 51 17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart-- These, O God, You will not despise. Ezekiel 20:43 And there you shall remember your ways and all your doings with which you were defiled; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight because of all the evils that you have committed. Ezekiel 36:31 Then you will remember your evil ways and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight, for your iniquities and your abominations. Pastor Glenn |
