Bible Question: If God is sovereign - which I believe He is. How then, does abortion fit in God's sovereign purpose? |
Bible Answer: Dear New Creature: Why do you make your question so narrow? The better and more general question would be, "How does evil fit in God's sovereign purpose?" Now the answer would still be that we don't exactly know, but we know that it does. Jesus, of course, would be the supreme example of God purposing evil for our good and His glory. Acts 2:23 this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. Gen 50:20 "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive. Rom 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Peace, |
