Bible Question: If God is sovereign - which I believe He is. How then, does abortion fit in God's sovereign purpose? |
Bible Answer: Greetings New Creature, I do not believe that Abortion fits within God's sovereign purpose. Of course, God is sovereign, and I'm sure that He could supernaturally prevent them from happening, but then again, He could supernaturally prevent all crime (including murder) by coming back as King of Kings and Lord of Lords! In 1996, I, along with many, many other people, marched down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington D.C. to protest against abortion and to let then-President Clinton to know that the voice against Abortion was strong. I do not believe that God sanctions Abortion in any way, even though He is not powerless to prevent all abortions, all crime, and all murder from happening. Blessings to you, Makarios |
