Subject: Scriptural Support? |
Bible Note: Greetings DBR! Scripture most certainly teaches of a resurrection of all people to either Heaven or Hell. However, there is nothing in Scripture to indicate people 'coming back' for a second chance. Those who die 'lost' remain lost at the resurrection and are sent to Hell. Those who die 'saved' remain saved at the resurrection and go to Heaven. There is nothing in any of the passage you have cited that indicate, as you said in one of your previous posts, that unrighteous people will be brought back and offered a second chance. p.s. - I notice that you are quoting from the New World Translation. I would highly recommend avoiding it as it is not really a translation at all. The Watchtower organization will not release any information about the supposed translators, so no one even knows if they were qualified to translate the Bible or not. From the lack of quality in it, I would say that they were not. It is very apparent that they have little understanding of Greek or Hebrew. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
