Bible Question: Is the prophet Isaiah speaking of Jesus here? Why would he be talking in past tense when Jesus was centuries into the future? |
Bible Answer: Shalom Timla6, In response to your first question the answer is yes, this is considered one of many messianic prophesies. To your second question, remember this is the word of God. God is eternal, He knows the end from the beginning and according to Him all of this is already accomplished. I suggest you read Jn 1:1-14, and the book of Colossians. Then proceed as The Spirit leads you. I think then this all will become clear to you. Prayfully ask The Holy Spirit to reveal God's truth to you through His word.
