AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed. |
Bible Question: Was he cut into at his death? |
Bible Answer: Grace, Isaiah 53:5 does tell us that that he was pierced through for our sins and if we read the Gospel accounts we are told that his side was pierced after he died. In Him, lionheart |
