Subject: Was Jesus Rich? |
Bible Note: Greetings Pazzaz! The word translated as 'treasurer' is the Greek phrase 'the one having the box'. There isn't any verse which specifically mentions how much money Jesus had, but as Philemocc pointed out, there are several which seem to indicate that He didn't have much. Jesus was traveling with a group of 12 men, including many of their family memembers. So, the 'box' mentioned is probably the total resources of the group, not just Jesus. I hope this helps!
