NASB | Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed [confidently trusted in, relied on, and adhered to] our message [of salvation]? [Is 52:7, 10] And to whom [if not us] has the arm and infinite power of the LORD been revealed? [John 12:38-41; Rom 10:16] |
Bible Question:
In addition to Isaiah 53, Psalm 2, and Psalm 110, are there more outstanding Hebrew scriptures for searching Jews? I see these as outstanding because they readily show that no one else in history could possibly fulfil these prophecies of the Messiah except Jesus Christ. They thereby, link the old testament with the new testament. God Bless, Pastor Glenn |
Bible Answer: Greetings Pastor Glenn! Thank you for the observation. I had the opportunity to personally meet and contribute financially to the Jews For Jesus group, based out of California, during my time at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. There are many, many Scriptures that I could cite, but one of my favorite books in the Bible is Matthew, and Matthew is filled with Hebrew (OT) scriptural references to Christ! Blessings to you, Makarios |
