Subject: What is the glory of God? |
Bible Note: Greetings TheCurtMan! You asked, "What's God has to do with me waking up in the morning??" EVERYTHING - Psalm 139:1-18 (Do take a moment an read this!) assures us that all our days (this includes waking up in the morning or not) are ordained for us . . . To me, I always saw God's glory as an awareness of His Presence, but after some studying, I believe it is much more than that. What you have posted is indeed part of it. Might we say that God's glory be a revelation of WHO He is - His attributes? How do we "see" His glory? (The heavens declare the glory of God . . . See also Romans 1:20-23) Thoroughout Scripture He reveals Himself in both general and specific means - according to His plan and purpose for people and individuals. How has God revealed His glory (who He is) to you? "but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD."
