Bible Question: I believe THE VERY FIRST SIN ever referred to didn't occur in the Garden of Eden, but IN HEAVEN. Lucifer's sin occurred BEFORE Adam and Eve ate the fruit...right? So, if heaven is so perfect and our ultimate goal as Christians, why wasn't it enough to keep Satan satisfied? How do we know there won't be more sin in heaven? |
Bible Answer: Hello everyone, this is my first post here, so please pray for me, but to address the question at hand....you asked the question in the future tense, so I will answer in the future tense. Rev 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. Verse Info. Notes Rev 21:2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. Verse Info. Notes Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, Verse Info. Notes Rev 21:4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." Clearly you can determine from this passage that there will be no more sin. God Bless. |
