Bible Note: If you review the history of the people of Israel, you see that both corporately and individually, they did go astray. God recorded their history for us so that we might learn not to follow their example. We certainly may go astray. Do you think men have gone astray by ignoring the plain teaching of the following verses? Acts 2:41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls. Acts 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight, and he got up and was baptized; Acts 22:16 'Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.' Rom 6:3 Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?
