Bible Note: My dear Hank, Isn't the spiritual journey just amazing to follow? Everything that happens to us happens for a purpose, and I have found it interesting that, when God reminded you of your age, that you began to see the wisdom in knowing that there may be fewer days ahead than there are behind. You handled this wisdom by making the conscious choice to become closer in your relationship to your Creator! Praise the Lord, and may we all be so willing to re-prioritize our lives by realizing the enormity of the God that we serve in relation to our fragile and brief human lifespan. I have no doubt that this "sacrifice" on your part has reaped so many blessings and rewards already, and you have been a most excellent example to someone like me by proving to be a "good steward" of your time, my friend. I have learned, from Godly examples such as yourself, that time is our most precious commodity and that we must use it well, because time waits on nobody, and time will never stop as long as we are here. Thank you for sharing your testimony with us! Blessings to you my fellow heavenly citizen! Nolan |
