Bible Question: Where in the Bible do i find references that will help me get through these personal trials and tribulations basically to get a strong peace of mind? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Brenda! May this be a very Blessed NEW YEAR for you Brenda! This is a season in which many of us reflect upon our past and pray with faith and hope for our future. I have viewed all the previous responses to your question. I heartily agree that you should read all the Scriptures listed. They will encourage you, as you lay your concerns before our Lord in prayer. Read and gain insight from all the Scriptures mentioned, be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's guidance and He will give you peace and hope for all the days ahead. The only specific Scripture I did not see listed that I would also ask you to reflect upon deeply is found in Galatians 5:22-6:10. I have come to deeply believe that if we as Christians would only commit to recognizing our total dependance upon the Lord, recognize AND confess our sins, seek the Lord with all our heart in prayer and Scripture AND join a local body of believers,we would then be able to live our yielded lives with more power of the Holy Spirit within us! Please consider, that the EVIDENCE of the Holy Spirit working in our Christian journey of faith would be clearly seen IF we PRACTICE the FRUITS of the Spirit in our RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN our family, church, and community. We are greatly forwarned about the pits of despair we will find ourselves in, IF we have practiced the deeds of the flesh as referred to in Gal.5:19. Read Romans 12:1-2, and remember transforming your mind with the power of the Holy Spirit is not only a daily process but a lifetime of constant renewal and commitment! Also, I want to refer you to another Christian related web site that assists the marriage relationship in a variety of helpful direct ways, marriagebuilders.com. It is excellent! They have a forum that discusses relationship problems. Grace and Peace. |
