Bible Question: Would'nt you rather elect uncompromisingly righteous leaders and rejoice than sit back and watch a wicked leader be elected and groan and sigh? Are we supposed to just sit back and let people lead our country into destruction just to be politically correct? |
Bible Answer: 1 Timothy 2 (KJV) 1. I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2. For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; We who have the privledge to vote should vote our conscience, but as the Body we are instructed to pray for those in authority, both within the church and civil authority. We are to lead a peaceable life, overcoming evil with good. |
