Subject: beating your child with a rod |
Bible Note: I understand where you are coming from and that is good for some and it oc course it depends on the age of the child. One point to remember though is that many parents loose their temper when they are disciplining a child and become excessive with the rod. When you use a hand on the back side you will feel it too and have a reminder when enough is enough. People also have the tendency to use inappropriate items such as cords, 2x4's, ect. Physical injury is very easy to cause when using an object such as a rod. Much less physical harm is the case of hand to back side contact. And of course you should never strike a child any where except the back side. prayon |
