Subject: Bible lesson for nosy neighbor |
Bible Note: Hi Hank, Thanks for your response. The Wildcat is in reference to my car... 1970 Buick Wildcat. I've tried being nice to the woman. The house I live in used to be my grandmother's. I took care of the yard for my gramma every Saturday for over 20 years. Almost every week the woman would come over to tell me what I was doing wrong. Never a nice word from her on keeping the yard looking nice. The reply from me to her was never a nasty word. Just a thank you for the advice. I've lived my life by treating others the way that I would want to be treated. I've never been mean back to the woman although I have truly wanted to be. You are right, I should pray for this bitter old woman who's only pleasure in life is to attempt to make the lives of those around her miserable. But she will not be invited into my house and the "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" will look nice taped in my window. Thank you for your answer. Tom |
