Bible Question: how many types of angels are there? What are the names of these angels |
Bible Answer: Dear Chomba, I think dwilliamson has given you a good answer. Although, my tendency is to think of the "elect angels" as simply a category of angels who are not fallen. There is another category that the Bible calls "principalities" (Ephesians 1:21; 3:10); however, that term is sometimes used exclusively of fallen angelic powers (cf Colossians 2:15 and Ephesians 6:12). One must be careful mixing up what the Bible says about angels and what the culture thinks believes of them. In Him, Doc |
