NASB | Exodus 4:12 "Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and teach you what you are to say." |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Exodus 4:12 "Now then go, and I, even I, will be with your mouth, and will teach you what you shall say." |
Bible Question: I have read this verse before and know it is there where Bible is against anyone taking some else's offense. |
Bible Answer: I have done fairly extensive concordance and topical searches using offense and can find nothing that would fit your quote. I believe there was a very popular teaching back in the late 80's about taking your brothers offensse. The idea was if you brother felt he was wronged by another and told you about it and if then you picked up the offense you could still be holding onto to the offense even though your brother and the other person involved resolved their differnces. Sorry I couldn't find a Bible verse, but I don't think one exists for this subject. |
